Valentines day weirds me out. It's a hard holiday to know the expectations and how much to spend money on...or not spend money on. How do you quantify love for someone with a dollar sign or a momentary gift? When I was asked to write this gift guide, I was stuck. Then I got to thinking. What would I want as a gift for Valentine's day?
I'm a nerd, a homebody, and a self proclaimed home cook. I love functional yet cute, affordable yet lasting gifts. I personally don't have a person to love on this Valentines day but I have had in the past and there was always the make filet and baked potatoes from scratch with some grocery store florals. But this year, it's just loving on me, myself, and I. And if I could give any advice on what to give as a gift on this Valentines Day, it would be this: Make it personal. Make it meaningful.
So...I have put together some of my favorite little gifts that you can give to the ones you love or your best gal pal to show them you are thinking of them. Here goes nothing...

It's a little gesture with a big punch. Plus it comes in a cute box. Speaking from experience..girls dig this stuff.

Who doesn't LOVE a mug for your morning coffee or in my case...matcha! I love this because it doesn't scream too festive but it's festive enough to give the gift with a little local coffeeshop gift card. I love this and think it's a perfect gift for your co-worker or someone who needs to remember that, "love is the answer"

3.) PRIMARY PETALS “KISSABLE” BOUQUET
This is my MOST favorite bouquet we have in the shop. It's all kinds of textures and I love the coloring - valentines pink with a hit of red and a little dusty green peeking through with the airplant. It's such a beautiful piece that we ship to the lower 48 over night. It arrives looking fresh and make you look GOOD as the sender. I can pretty much promise you'll get a lot of XOs on V-day!

Loria is a dear colleague of mine. She started doing these cookies out of her 
home with flowers and herbs she grew in her garden. She has since received renowned press and ships all over the place. The cookies taste great AND are gorgeous. A win win for anyone wanting to go the extra mile for the ones they love.
FOR THE GIRL YOU WANT TO REMIND ALL YEAR LONG
I'm a words of affirmation girl and I know lots of women feel the opposite of what they truly are. I think this sign would be a GREAT gift to be a constant reminder to ones you love so they can remember who they really are.
